The Theatre Squared Society of Alberta is seeking Playwrights for the 15th Annual Carnival of Shrieking Youth Emerging Artists Festival.

Playwrights of all experience levels between the ages of 11 and 25 are encouraged to participate. We are proud to provide access to the arts for youth who may not otherwise be able to participate and to offer many young people their first opportunity to get involved with the arts. The Carnival of Shrieking Youth is the longest running, youth-driven festival in Edmonton, featuring local writers, directors, actors, musicians, artists and film makers. Participants return year after year for a safe environment in which to grow as artists. A festival dedicated to creativity and mentorship, C.O.S.Y. is a highly rewarding experience for anyone looking to explore and nurture their talents.
