Born in a basement in Edmonton, Alberta in February 2005, Violet Archer played their debut concert on May 27, 2005.  Violet Archer’s music is often described as high-energy rock and roll that is reminiscent of classic rock groups.  Playing original songs, Violet Archer brings style and charisma to every show, engaging the crowd in a two-way exchange of rock energy that produces sweaty, hoarse, but happy, fans. The band continues to produce new songs and play to larger audiences, and has developed a loyal and ever-growing following over the past year.  The first Violet Archer music video (produced by Theatre Squared) is set to be released in late May during the Carnival of Shrieking Youth.
