The band formed in 2004 with members from Brother Voodoo and Decline. Five young men came together to try and make a band that appealed to their tastes and was different from most of the other local bands at that time, and ultimately succeeding at almost every turn. A Portrait of Midnight has already played several shows for hundreds of people in the last two years, released a self-titled EP, is recording a split EP with Depravity Waltz this summer, and recording a full length next spring.
