Formed in 2001, Ass (which could stand for After School Special, Alberta Surf Society, or Alcoholic Sound System, depending on who you talk to) operates on 2 principles. Drinking beer & playing punk rock. Our influences include DOA, LAMS, SNFU, Black Flag & The Descendants. Our sound is Hardcore punk rock with twinges of Surf, Jazz, Country, metal and anything else that pops into our minds as the beer cube disappears. Over the years, we've opened up for a bunch of great bands including DOA, The Wednesday Night Heroes, & Knucklehead. The Summer of 2006 will see a bunch of shows, a bunch of new songs, and our first recording.
